• Rubbish....

  We recently purchased a flower girl dress for my wedding from this shop. We had seen it in the window and it looked great. When we asked for it, a lady there got it and gave it to us in a well presented plastic sheet covering to protect it. As the dress is for my niece, we couldnt try it on, so when we got home, we were annoyed to see that the under skirt was cut to ribbons and stained. Obviously we werent happy about this, so we called them the next day, they said we cant have a refund and will repair it for us. So we took it in on the following weekend and the lady ( Who by the way wasnt there when we first called but should have rang us back, but didnt) said she would look at it and ring us back to let us know when it will be ready. Surprise surprise she didnt call back. So we called a few days later, and they said they have never heard of us and dont know what dress were talking about!!! Eventually, the woman who we dealt with came on the phone, but she played dumb too for a while. She said she would have to send the dress away to a factory to be corrected and could take months. This wont help as our wedding isnt far away. So we are due to go there in the next couple of days to get a refund, when we asked her for her name, she fumbled and eventually said it was Tina.....hmmmm sounded like she had made it up. So, we await to see if we to actually get a refund ( she offered us a cheque but that will probably bounce all the way to the bank) or some more rubbish will happen. I wont be surprised if its the latter. Disgrace and enough to put me off there forever.
