  • 2 AVOID AVOID AVOID

If you want a smooth pleasant bike transaction avoid them at all costs and go elsewhere, broken promise after broken promise, take that back, lies after more lies, they tell you what you want to hear and trust me they should be renamed Jackanory Cycles as it really is story time with them! 5 WEEKS of it's in stock, no it's at the docks, it's en route to the shop, it got dispatched yesterday, however overnight delivery now takes 3 days!? Doh!!. (This at 10am and on phoning courier that evening it actually only got collected from there store at 4.30 and they only phoned for collection at 3.30pm). AVOID AVOID AVOID

  • 2 BAD SERVICE AND ATTITUDE

I would advise anyone not to purchase a bike from this shop. I purchased online in June a bmx with mag wheels for my daughters birthday ( I choose Abbey cycles as they promised a prompt delivery and actually paid more for the bike than i would from an alternative site!). The bike duly arrived ...minus the wheels specified so I contacted the shop immediatley and was told they would rectify this by sending out the correct wheels within the next few days.....Three months down the line I am still waiting .the customer service is appauling and I have found myself being passed from pillar to post and person to person..i have done all the phoning and emailing and been promised each week that the wheels would be sent out....now they are avoiding my calls and have not contacted ...Worse thing though is that they are still advertising the bike i ordered on there website.!!!!
