La Tasca are a chain of authentic Spanish restaurants with a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain - warm decor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. All this combines to create a great atmosphere, where you can relax and eat or drink as much as you like, from a selection of Tapas dishes to an authentic Paella. They also serve a selection of Spanish wines, sherry, beers and Sangria.
It was a good meal and a nice experience. Well located and the the service was friendly and prompt. I would recommend to anyone as not too expensive (though as with all tapas not cheap either). All in all would suit many people for may occasions.
I would usually give La Tasca five stars as it is one of my favourite places to eat but my visit lats weekend put me off slightly. On arriving at the restaurant we were told that we had to wait an hour for a table, not unusual for a good place on a Saturday night. The place was heaving and the atmosphere was excellent as usual. I began to feel disappointed when we ordered food. After being seated we had to wait for forty minutes for our dishes to appear. The catalan tomato bread was left under the grill too long and was chewy and burned when it came to our table. The waiter did not use a pad preferring to memorise our order but unfortunately got two of our dishes wrong. This visit was not up to the usual standard but I will go back and am hoping for a better experience. La Tasca are also offering customers a £5 discount if you sign up as a member of their website. Happy eating.

I really enjoy La Tasca, as it a nice experience as well as nice food. This is one of a chain, selling a range of Spanish Tapas - something for every taste. The menu also includes Paella, some tasty deserts and drinks. There is also a large bar, though we get the jugs of Sangria to share.I've never had a dish I didn't like there to be honest, and some very nice ones. Obviously the best way to eat is to go in a group and have everyone share dishes, even if the table does get crowded :)Prices are about £3-£6 per dish, so as expensive as you choose really. Not too bad.It is very popular so you can have trouble getting a table at weekend nights. The atmosphere is friendly and lively, and the service always good and reasonably quick.
La tasca is a large spanish tapas restaurant smack bang in the middle of liverpool town centre. Ive eaten there a number of times both on dates and for working lunches. Its hard to review tapas though, as quite clearly you get what you pay for! The food is above average but nothing to shout about, competant i guess is the word. Service was polite and quick (which is good for liverpool!) and the bill wasnt too rediculous at around £12-15 per person for 3-4 courses. The restuarants i large and presented in dark wood for that authentic spanish feel. A large, well stocked bar has a good variety of drinks for all types.
