    This is probably the restaurant I would choose If I was looking to plan a chinese meal out for an occasion. It is nicely decorated inside, quite fancy and ornate. The food is very good and tasty, and it has always been busy every time I have been.The only reason why I haven't given it a high rating is because it is not that cheap.. I like to often eat out at chinese restaurants because I love the food, so to get more value I normally choose one of the buffet style restaurants that have a set price. However the Shangri La is perfect for a nice occasion if you're not bothered about it not having a buffet. It is right by the city centre too.
