With branches across the UK, Bella Pasta is a chain of Italian restaurants that offer quick pizza and pasta dishes to suit all budgets.
National Railway: Liverpool Central Station
As soon as we walked in to Bella Italia, we felt that you could definately tell that it was part of a chain of restaurants. Having previously visitied the Blackpool and Edinburgh branches I think that this restaurant has the same feel and very similar decor. The service in Bella Italia in Liverpool, like in other branches is friendly and helpful and we felt well looked after. The service was quick but there was enough time between courses to relax and chat so we didn't feel that we were being rushed. As a vegetarian I was happy with the variety of choices on offer for me and my mate assures me that the variety of choice for non veggies was great. This is a restaurant which I would visit for lunch or dinner at the weekend but I would not come on a special occassion. This venue is super and extremely child friendly but not the sort of place to come on a first date or a special occassion.
Wenners
Bella Italia in literal terms means beautiful Italy, and the inside of this restaurant in Liverpool City Centre certainly gives you an idea as to why Italy is viewed in such a way. Set in candle light in the evenings the decor of the restaurant makes you feel you are in a small restaurant in the streets of venice, a thing i loved was the fact that even though it is a chain restaurant, it doesn't feel impersonal at all. Food was really good, the wait wasn't too long and the meals were hot and served well. The only problem we encountered was a mix up in drinks orders but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Moneywise it's good value for money,a garlic bread, 2 pizzas, a bowl of chips and two coke's for £16 is great, especially if you're a student as they give 20% the bill if you are studying full time. All in all, a fantastic meal and well worth a visit.
