Low Cost Magic!

Given the current economic climate the pressure was on our purchasing department to deliver cost savings and fast. We contacted Impact International Procurement initially as we were looking for help in re-sourcing one of our larger components in our bill of materials to a Low Cost Country and we were un-sure where to start. We were fist struck by the in-depth knowledge that the guys at IIP have in this area and it gave us the confidence to take things to the next step. We received a first class service and IIP quickly delivered several quotations from suppliers in several Eastern European countries with a full profile about each of the companies. Before committing we visited 2 of the prospective suppliers in the company of our project manager at IIP. Having successfully re-sourced one major component with a cost saving of over 20% we are now looking at re-sourcing several others. Credit Crunch? What Credit Crunch!
