Good for breakfasts at the weekend and they are happy for late drinkers to pop into their bar. Recommended

Small but perfectly formed local cafe. Great for takeaways - their sandwiches are brilliant and always freshly made. The little room out the back makes sitting in fine.

Great place on Hope Street. Sometime suffers from being too busy and a slow service. Worth trying though.

Good for a beer, great for a snack. Can get busy at the weekends, but I like it!

Really great - I go to both branches and they are excellent value and lovely food. Recommended breakfasts - get there early!

Sorry, while this trades on its reputation, the time I went the staff were a little stand-offish, the portions very small and completely over-priced. I didn't enjoy it.

Great food and always busy - it is underneath the Everyman theatre, so loads of arty types. Worth a visit.

Great vegatarian food in a really nice space at the top of an old warehouse. Can be tricky to find, but worth the hunt. I don't think it has disabled access though, which is a real shame - otherwise it would get 5 stars.

Horrid junk-food

Fabulous food and really great service - best Italian in Liverpool for me. It can get quite noisy though at the weekends!
